Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo reveal their sales figures of their popular consoles for November.

Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo reveal their sales figures of their popular consoles for November.

The popular technology website “Next Generation” have revealed that Microsoft claim that they have sold 300,000 units of their Xbox 360 games console in the week of Black Friday.

This report indicates that they have nearly matched the every popular Nintendo Wii’s sales of 350,000 and almost beat the sales of Sony’s Playstation 3 console at a 2 to 1 ratio,

Few would have thought that the Nintendo Wii would prove to be so popular outside of Japan, but with a growing catalogue of family orientated games, the demand has grown and grown.

This sales figure estimate appeared to rattle Sony representative Kimberly Otzman who stated that she could “assure you that Microsoft's  estimates of our PS3 unit sales numbers are way off and they did not outsell PS3 2:1 during Black Friday week."

Whether it’s an exaggeration or not, there is also good news for Sony who have seen their sales increase by 245% from the same period in 2006.
In November 2006, around 197,000 units of the Playstation 3 console were sold, indicating that around 500,000 of the machines were sold last month.
With all three companies boasting healthy sales figures, it can only do good for the companies growth and profits.

For those with jobs in sales of electronic goods, be braced for continued demand for these pieces of sought after hardware!
