Wyeth cutting 1200 US sales jobs

In disappointing news for Sales Jobs, American sales representatives employed by Wyteh have been informed that their positions will no longer be there as of Monday. 

The total people that will be effected by this news is thought to be in the region of one thousand two hundred people.  This is said to be part of a major program which was initially announced around nine weeks ago.  The reasons behind it are to redesign the business of the New Jersey based company while it is struggling with it’s competition. 

Wyeth spokesman Doug Petkus commented that the employees will be given severance pay, whilst continuing to receive benefits.
